Job Description
Position: Business Analyst - Access Management/Identity & Access Management
This role emphasizes business analysis within Access Management/Identity & Access Management. Under moderate supervision, the role requires creative problem-solving, contributing to documentation, planning, and implementing efforts as part of small project teams to deliver solutions to business needs. The role involves working on moderately complex issues, defining solutions independently, or in collaboration with senior process and technical resources. Key daily responsibilities include: documenting solutions in clear language and often visually; communicating task status to project stakeholders; deconstructing moderately complex problems for simpler solutions; collaborating with project teams to define work plans; and training, coaching, and advising end-users on solution use. The role allows for some autonomy in setting objectives, priorities, and timelines that may impact department or team goals and requires collaboration with managers and/or site leaders, as well as occasional interaction with external colleagues.
Essential Functions

- Analyze business and system needs in terms of functional and technical requirements. Align solutions to MIS strategy. Work closely with project stakeholders to define business-centric requirements and evaluate available and/or custom system solutions.

- Collaborate with internal and external teams to define process improvements. Work with process owners to understand tactical and strategic plans for operational support. Provide project-specific input to help create the strategic roadmap for a domain.

Requirements
Minimum requirements that a candidate MUST have to be considered:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree; OR
- Associate degree and five (5) years of experience managing technical solution implementations; OR
- High school diploma or equivalent and five (5) years of experience managing technical solution implementations.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Communication
- Create communication plans and RACI charts
- Produce informative status reports for project stakeholders and direct supervisors
- Clearly explain project goals and business requirements
- Trusted technical advisor capable of participating in early-initiation meetings for business initiatives
- Process Analysis
- Capable of deconstructing business processes into system workflows and decision trees
- Translate business processes into system requirements
- Facilitate sessions with diverse teams to analyze business processes, identify gaps, and define remediation options
- Strong understanding of technology platforms and strategy, with the ability to align solutions accordingly
- Implementation
- Define and manage Identity & Access Management (IAM) implementations for small projects
- Effectively explain, coach, and advise end-users on proper configuration and system usage
Preferred Qualifications:
- Internship experience with a focus on business processes, IT services, or technology solutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Online (O365/M365) environment, including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Forms, Whiteboard, Delve, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Experience with Active Directory (AD) and Azure Active Directory
- Familiarity with IAM concepts and best practices
- Experience in Agile project management methodology and working with Agile teams, Developers, Architects, and Business Customers
- Experience working with stakeholders to identify, analyze, and gather solution requirements
- Knowledge of data analysis, data models, and manipulation
- Proficiency in Visio and project management tools such as MS Project, Planner, and DevOps
